Dr. Frank Werner from Software AG has been invited to give a talk on smart logistic concepts at the FZI Open House event. The FZI Research Centre for Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology is a non-profit institution for applied research in information technology and technology transfer.
Under the title “Complex Event Processing in the context of Smart Logistics”, he presented Software AG’s response to the demand of modern logistic providers and first research results from the Horizon 2020 Synchro-NET Project. Within the FZI Open House event visitors had opportunities to gain insights in recent research topics and transfer fora in the area of mobility, digitalisation of the industry (Industrie 4.0), analytics and logistics as well as IT security.
